12 postgraduate Froebel College students from the 2009 Higher Diploma course attended the annual conference of the IPPEA (Irish Primary PE Association) in St. Patrick's College on Sat 28th March. For many of these students, it was their first visit to St. Pats since their successful inteviews last December.

Throughout the day, they were an active part of teacher workshops in topics such as Disability Sports, movement programmes for children with motor difficulties, Athletics, Outdoor challenges, active break time promotion in schools, games with frisbbes and rhythmic gymnastics. The pictures show some of the attendance at key note address by Professor Margaret Talbot from the UK, and college PE lecturer Tony Sweeney, with some of these students after their first venture into rhythmic gymnastics.
