Froebel Environmental Society

Froebel Environmental Society spent the annual away week-end in Avon Rí Adventure centre in Blessington, Co. Wicklow. 40 students and 2 lecturers partook in the activities. Ecology and orienteering were the main focus on Saturday relating activities to strands of the SESE and PE curriculum. Sunday was spent on adventure sports canoeing, kayaking, clay-pigeon shooting, Zorbing and Segway.

Use was also availed of the excellent facilities of Avon Rí - gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.
